Bing Crosby's Aston Martin headed to Monterey auction

Originally owned by singer/actor Bing Crosby, a 1966 Aston Martin DB6 will be featured at the Mecum Monterey Auction, Aug. 13-14.
The car's original interior is still intact--cherry-wood steering wheel and all. The brake system and Mikuni carburetors have been rebuilt.
The DB6 most noticeably differs from earlier models with its Kamm tail, in which the spoiler is integrated into the tail of the car. This improved the high-speed stability of the DB6, which hits a top speed of 142 mph.
A copy of the original title bearing Crosby's name is also included in the lot.
